Cracked and Peeled face

Open the model and a texture. Lower the opacity of the texture to 50% and change the mode to multiply. Adjust the levels of the texture (enhance and adjust lighting). Add a levels layer and join the texture layer to it. Paint in black where you don't want the texture.

Blog Question #1

Q. What is the meaning of photographic evidence if you can change an image digitally?

       A. If you can change an image digitally, photographic evidence isn’t as accurate. In the actual picture a person could be wearing a different colour shirt than in the digitally altered picture and it can look quite convincing. And for another example, a person could be actually put into a scene with a background change. Photo evidence can’t be trusted as much since photo editing has been introduced.

 Q. Now that you know a little about digital alterations, what would you say if you were accused of a crime and the police had a photo of your car that clearly puts YOU at the  scene of a crime?

      A. Now that I know a little about digital alterations, if I was seen at the scene of a crime, I would ask if it was the original image or if there was evidence that the image has been altered.
